Hosting comedy wrestling! What a blast, except we lost our beers to the match! Luckily they make more.

This is my second time coming to this establishment and have really enjoyed me time here. We met some friends for drinks on Sunday afternoon and really enjoyed the live music playing. I was getting nostalgic "Country Bear Jamboree" vibes and that coupled with the really good beer made the afternoon quite enjoyable.

This is such a fun place to hang out. They have a variety of beers on tap and my favorite beverage is the Paloma. Their menu has great pizza selections. I really like their outdoor vibe and love to hang out here with friends. They host local events; one memorable event I attended was star wars day where people were dressed up in costume and they had local vendors on site selling items related to the event. Always a good time at this place.

I had a great time here and definitely see myself making the drive to frequent more often. Huge indoor/outdoor areas with extensive seating. They have a taco/nacho food truck outside which was freaking delicious (and only $12 for my nachos). The best part was probably the staff. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and quick with the drink requests. One of the bartenders recommended the tajin to my friend, and she said she couldn't try it due to a garlic allergy. The bartender ended up checking after we left to find it didn't have garlic since it was homemade, so she brought my friend out a cup with it to let her try. (Soooo sweet!) Just a great location with great people!

There is almost always something going on at CMW whether it's Wednesday night run club, trivia on Tuesday, a live band or a football game projected on a big screen. No matter the day of the week or really time of day, it is quite lively! They boast a sizable selection of drinks (beer, wine, cocktails), including some fun, not too sweet, frozen options. The food menu includes some snacky bits, pizzas, burgers, sandwiches and two salad options. The pizza is yummy, it comes in one larger size and is a thinner crust. On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9 pm to close you can get a cheese or pepperoni for $15 as well as a $5 pints & pretzel. The place is super doggo friendly. When it it's really nice outside, it can be difficult to find seating, despite the fact that they are such such a huge venue with lots of indoor and outdoor tables. The parking can be tough due to popularity so definitely recommend biking or Ubering.

Central Machine Works (CMW) made for an excellent second stop on the Twisted Texas Tour's Brunch Bus. The atmosphere at this open-air venue was perfect for a leisurely brunch, and the friendly staff added to the overall positive experience. For our brunch treat, we were served pitchers of shandy and a unique twist on the classic shakshuka with the shakshuka pizza. While I'm not typically a fan of shandy, it seemed to be a hit with others in our group who enjoyed the refreshing combination. The shakshuka pizza, on the other hand, was a delightful fusion of flavors, blending the traditional Middle Eastern dish with a classic pizza presentation. The venue's open-air setting provided a relaxed and enjoyable environment, and the staff's friendliness and attentiveness added to the overall positive vibes. Although the shandy wasn't my personal preference, the consensus among the group was that both the food and drink offerings were well-received. Overall, Central Machine Works proved to be a great choice for a brunch stop, offering a unique and enjoyable experience that added a memorable touch to the Twisted Texas Tour.
